About My Self

             I am the simple son born to “Teacher” parents in Usilampatti (father retired as headmaster and mother as teacher from Government School, Usilampatti); I never dreamt I would be rubbing shoulders with captains of the industry one day.

I was a voracious reader and always studied sincerely as my poor parents struggled hard to give me and my two sibling’s good education.  And I did them proud by finishing BE (Civil) from Government College of Technology, Coimbatore; ME (Environmental Engineering), Anna University, Chennai and a Ph.D in Composite Landscape Assessment for Madurai Metropolitan Region using the Geographical Information System from Madurai Kamaraj university.

Turning point:

That also became the turning point in my life. At TCE i was given the additional responsibility of the Placement officer and during my stint I achieved the highest rate ever – of placing 98 per cent students in various industries.

It also paved the way for me to meet industrialists and push my case as a specialist in treating and disposing wastewater. Solid waste industrial waste besides doing environmental impact assessments.

Though people i approached did not take me kindly, i continued with my studies, continuously updating myself on environment management systems

After years of running from pillar to post convincing people about safer methods of running industries. I finally registered my company in 1998

Companies that rejected me in my initial years of struggle, today have him on their panel as an environment consultant and my client’s list goes beyond 2000, Spread across the State, 70 per cent of my business is concentrated in Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai and rest in Trichy, Cuddalore, Erode, Salem, hosur & Bangalore and even Delhi & Kerala.

Also I have established a testing and calibration lab in Madurai – the first and only NABL accredited Lab (National Accredited Board for Laboratories) in south Tamil Nadu.
